My long lost friend:

I found her when Kenny and I went to the Gaver pumpkin patch this week. There was a bowl full of these along with “Got Milk?” pencils and awareness bracelets and miniature rubber milk bottles.

It was perfect because this lil brown cow matched my Prada purse. Unfortunately, I think I forgot to actually toss her in my purse so she is probably lost somewhere in Kenny’s car. Wompwomp.

Drink milk!

Meet the Herreras!

After a very long (but amusing) night of playing a sweet little game called “Kings”…

Followed by a morning that came entirely too quick…

I spent the better part of my Tuesday with my good friend, Jeanette, who was nursing a mean hangover. When she finally felt well enough to let me peel her off the couch, we braved the bright and sunny afternoon in search of breakfast. On our stumble down the stairs and to my car, we found this (as well as a few other chalky doodles) sketched on the driveway:

The drawing is of the family of five that lives downstairs (AKA the landlords that we undoubtably pissed off the night before for being so damn’ loud). As depicted there is a daddy, and a mommy, and a ballerina big sister, and a middle sister with hella attitude, and a baby sister that is always on the run.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this cute ass drawing.

It made me smile.

Its A Tradition

By “tradition” I am referring to mine and Kenny’s annual trip to DC for the Capital Pride celebration!

We always have a great time! And I always snap a quick photograph of him on the trip down the super long escalator trip back to the DuPont aka “Froot Loop” metro!

I love San Antonio super markets!

These are “agua frescas”. The popular choice today was sandia (watermelon) but I decided to have limon (lemon) with a splash of sandia. It was tasty!

Did I mention that the temperature today was 106?

I am convinced that having one of these to sip on on my short walk through the parking lot back to the car was the only thing that kept me from melting into a pink and purple puddle.
